Kingstree, South Carolina, native Kari Cribb is a natural-born helper. With a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in the same from Atlanta’s Mercer University, she started her professional career as a teacher, landing a job at Ashley Hall when she moved to the Charleston area in 1990. Today, she spends her spare time rocking babies at MUSC’s Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and leading children’s Sunday school at Bethel United Methodist Church.
After staying at home for a few years with her three daughters, Kari embarked on her real estate career in 2001. She had a hunch that her passion for helping others and professional skills (being a pro multitasker and relating well with others especially) would carry over to real estate. Add to that a love of the Lowcountry and it’s been a recipe for success for countless happy clients. More than anything, Kari is committed to serving her clients with compassion and transparency, and never shies away from sharing her honest opinion for the benefit of her client.
Kari lives on James Island with her husband, Bryan, and three pups, and unwinds by spending time at the beach, with her family, and on long walks with friends. She’s also an active member of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, formerly serving on the grievance committee and currently sitting on the professional standards committee.
Working with former clients and their extended families and friends is always a treat. It means they remembered you and had a good enough experience that they called you back.
Our new office is near Hampton Park and I’ve loved spending time in the neighborhood. It seems to change everyday. Sunrise Park on James Island is wonderful too. It’s always a good pit stop on a long walk or run and is great for looking at the city and hunting for sharks’ teeth.
I love Cru Café and Leon’s. The food and service are always great and the vibes are fun.
